Who We Are

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit education and human services organization serving women and girls through mentoring, spiritual care and personal wellness, guided by Biblical Christian standards.

We are caring mentors who, along with parents or guardians, provide young women and girls with support, counsel, friendship, reinforcement and a constructive example.

Inter-generational mentoring is a structured and trusting relationship that brings young women and girls together with caring women who offer guidance, support and encouragement aimed at developing the competence and character of the mentee.

Our Roots

We know that our strength lies in a firm foundation built on Christian faith in Jesus Christ and His love that will empower women and girls in crisis, through our programming. In 2019, our non-profit organization realized that by working together we could help women and girls improve their quality of life to effectively overcome life’s challenges, offering hope, grace and the beauty of sisterhood in every stage of life. Connecting with women and girls through mentoring and spiritual care is why we ultimately decided to launch Selah Christian Women’s Fellowship Ministry, Inc.

Our Purpose

We seek to remedy the threats to women and girls’ well-being by elevating their quality of life, meeting their basic needs, and delivering inter-generational mentoring in the eight dimensions of wellness, in order to achieve self-sufficiency. The eight dimensions of wellness include physical, emotional/ mental, intellectual, social, spiritual, environmental, occupational, and financial. All the dimensions, being interconnected, impact all facets of women and girls well-being, thus affecting their quality of life.
